Horse activities through HPRA

HorsePower Riding Academy (HPRA) offers riding lessons from Monday to Saturday, and also hosts a variety of horsey functions on the property or will bring horses and/or ponies to your special event – see below for details.

July holiday camps

HPRA is offering two- and three-day camps in the July 2018 school holidays

Monday to Wednesday, 9 – 11 July;
Monday to Wednesday, 16 – 18 July.

The cost for the three-day camp is $300.
The cost is $120 per day for these camps.
All are subject to availability.

Drop-off is at 9.30am; pick-up at 4pm.

Horses, safety helmets, accommodation and all food is included.

Riding lessons

Logos: Equestrian Australia, Pony Club Australia, Ready Set Trot, Australian Sports CommissionSandie Gleeson, the owner of HorsePower Riding Academy (HPRA) is an Equestrian Australia/ National Coaching Accredited Scheme (EA/NCAS) Level 1 Accredited coach, and gives riding lessons at HPRA from Monday to Saturday. Sandie has a team of experienced riding instructors who also give lessons at HPRA. Please text Sandie on 0404 868 846 or send an email to, and we will get back to you to arrange a time to suit. HPRA is:
– a proud member of Equestrian Australia;
– affiliated with Pony Club Australia Inc and the Australian Sports Commission,
– a supporter of Riding for the Disabled (RDA);
– accredited delivery centre for the Ready Set Trot program.

Sandie has trained all her horses, and carefully selects the most suitable horse for each rider.

Private lessons are $40 for half an hour; $70 for an hour.
Group lessons are $30 for half an hour; $50 for an hour.

Term payments must be made by direct deposit into the HorsePower Riding Academy bank account before commencement of the term.

Sandie gives riding tuition to riders from the age of 4 years, and caters to everyone from beginners to advanced riders. She helps to develop the confidence of nervous riders, and can take you to the next level in a range of equestrian disciplines. Sandie will get you off on the right hoof.

Sandie has taught riders who have gone on to compete in a variety of competitions. More about them in Success Stories. And our Testimonials section will give you an idea of how Sandie’s instruction has helped to develop riders’ confidence and skills.

HPRA puts on a gymkhana from time to time where you can use either your horse or an HPRA horse. Drinks, fruit, ribbons and prizes are included. The cost is $80 for each participant.
