Our adorable pony Mini is now up for sale. She is 17 years young and has been there and done that. She is super quiet in traffic, on roads, at the beach, fetes, festivals, etc.
Here are some glimpses into the summer holiday activities at HorsePower Riding Academy in January 2016:
There were four two-day camps at HPRA during January, each with its own special flavour of fun, with Sandie providing enjoyable horse and other activities to suit the weather conditions – which included rain and very hot days. On the hot days, Sandie took the kids to the beach (without horses) and to Kincumber Pool. When the rain was heavy, Sandie took the riders and horses to a large indoor arena – pictured below.
A lot of fun was had by all – riders and spectators – at the end-of-year Gymkhana at HorsePower Riding last Saturday.
Sandie organised a range of events that all riders could participate in, even if they were beginner riders who were led through the course.
The focus was on participating and having fun rather than on competing.
HorsePower Riding Academy is offering 2-day camps during the 2016 January school holidays. Horses, safety helmets, accommodation and all food is included. The cost is $250 per rider.
